Paella

Paella is a recipe of rice based cuisine, originally from the Valencian community and nowadays very popular throughout Spain and also in other countries. The rice recipe is cooked along with other foods in a wide pan, commonly called paella. It’s popularity has made the paella undergo transformations from the original recipe of Valencian paella (chicken, duck, rabbit and snails) and other variants such as the paella marinera, which is made with a combination of fish and seafood, mixed paella sometimes called sea and mountain which is consists of a mixture of meat and seafood (or fish) and mountain paella, which incorporates different products typical of each region such as ribs, rabbit, chicken, butifarra and mushrooms.
